We are Binyamin and Jeremie, 2 Yeshiva students (a study place for Torah) which is well known in Jerusalem.
Why did we create Tzetel.com ?
As we are from France, our families, who still live there, kept on telling us «pray for us at the Kotel, since you live in Jerusalem !».
At this time, we were likely to answer them «please pray for you first…!».
Nevertheless, you have to be aware of the particular holyness of the Kotel, and the enthusiasm that this place gives, and that it’s the only one where the divine presence is on earth.
Rav Haïm ben Atta (also known as «the Or Ha'Haïm haKadoch»), great Kabbalist of the 18th century, particularly liked the Kotel so as to pray there for important needs.
People talk about a story from the ‘Hida (Rav Yossef David Azoulaï, the greatest Rabbi of his generation) who arrived in Jerusalem, but wasn’t considered as he should have beeb : Rav Haim ben Atta gave him a tzetel (a little piece of paper) to put at the Kotel. The day after, inhabitants paid attention to his wisdom, took him as the Rabbi of the local community and could take benefit from his lessons.

People from all over the world and all religions come to the Kotel especially to pray from this particular place, and this has been going for the last 2,000 years.
There’s a communication between G.od and us. This website is also here to invite people to pray : before, during of after writing your prayer, we’ll give you a list of Tehilim (David psalms) to read, that you can choose from depending on your need (family, success, peace, love,...).
Take every occasion to pray, for you and to the people of Israël in general more punctually and during important moments.
In our case, we go to the «Wall» every week to transmit prayers you send us, without any other intermediary.
They are printed then placed in the wall of the Kotel. To conclude, we’ll ask Rabbis that are present at the Kotel to say a general prayer for the success of all the people who sent a «tzetel.com». It’s a real privilege for us to have to do this «work».
The prayers deposit as well as the demands of blessings at the Kotel is a service that is necessarily paying which will especially help, as we hope, our Yeshiva financially and this web site to maintain it technically.
